DWA – Terms and Conditions
1. General Terms
1.1 These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of wedding services by Denmark Wedding Agency (“we,” “us,” “our”) through the website denmarkwedding.agency.
1.2 By engaging our services, clients (“you,” “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1.3 Denmark Wedding Agency reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website.
2. Service Packages and Fees
2.1 Document Consultancy Fee: A non-refundable Document Consultancy fee of €120 is required for all packages, in addition to the Agency of Family Law (AFL) application fee of €282. These fees must be paid upon ordering any service package.
2.2 Payment Schedule:
- Initial Payment: Document Consultancy fee (€120) + AFL application fee (€282)
- Final Payment: The remaining balance for your selected package is due after your application receives approval from the Danish authorities
- The Basic Service package requires payment in full at the time of booking

3. Booking Process
3.1 To secure any service package, clients must:
- Submit the required documentation as specified in the Documentation List
- Pay the Document Consultancy fee (€120) and AFL application fee (€282)
- Complete our service agreement form
3.2 For the Basic Service package, full payment is required before we begin processing any documentation.
3.3 Service commencement dates are subject to documentation completeness and payment verification.
4. Documentation Requirements
4.1 Clients are responsible for providing accurate and authentic documentation as requested.
4.2 Denmark Wedding Agency will provide a comprehensive Documentation List specific to the clients’ nationalities and circumstances.
4.3 Failure to provide required documentation may result in processing delays or application rejection. Denmark Wedding Agency is not liable for such delays or rejections.
4.4 Additional documentation may be required by Danish authorities at their discretion.
5. Application Processing
5.1 Denmark Wedding Agency will submit your application to the Agency of Family Law (AFL) on your behalf once all documentation is received and initial fees are paid.
5.2 Processing times vary depending on the selected package and current AFL workload:
- Express Package: Typically 5-10 business days
- Standard packages: Typically 10-30 business days
5.3 Denmark Wedding Agency cannot guarantee application approval, as final decisions rest with Danish authorities.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
6.1 The Document Consultancy fee (€120) and AFL application fee (€282) are non-refundable once paid.
6.2 Cancellations of booked services:
- More than 60 days before your wedding date: 70% refund of the final package payment
- 30-60 days before your wedding date: 50% refund of the final package payment
- Less than 30 days before your wedding date: No refund
6.3 If your application is rejected by Danish authorities despite provision of all required documentation, we will refund 50% of the package fee (excluding the Document Consultancy and AFL application fees).
6.4 Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur additional fees.
7. Apostille Service
7.1 The Apostille Service (€190) legalizes your Danish marriage certificate for international recognition.
7.2 Delivery times for apostilled documents vary by destination country. Standard delivery is typically 10-20 business days after your ceremony.
7.3 Express processing of apostille documents is available for an additional fee of €100.
7.4 Denmark Wedding Agency is not responsible for documents lost or damaged in transit, though we will assist with replacement procedures.
8. Liability Limitations
8.1 Denmark Wedding Agency acts as a service provider and is not liable for decisions made by Danish authorities.
8.2 Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for services.
8.3 Denmark Wedding Agency is not liable for:
- Application rejections due to clients providing incomplete or inaccurate information
- Delays caused by third parties, including Danish authorities
- Force majeure events including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, or public emergencies
9. Privacy and Data Protection
9.1 Denmark Wedding Agency collects and processes personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
9.2 By engaging our services, clients consent to the sharing of their personal information with Danish authorities as necessary for wedding arrangements.
9.3 Client data will not be shared with third parties except as required for the provision of contracted services.
10. Governing Law
10.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Denmark.
10.2 Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Denmark.
